Jamison received a business degree from Montana State University with an emphasis in Management, Accounting, and Information Systems. In 1998, he started his own accounting firm, focusing on accounting, tax preparation, and business formation and structure. Over the years, Jamison realized the need for a comprehensive approach to his client's personal and business financial affairs. He incorporated Comprehensive Financial Planning, Investment Management, Insurance, and Estate Planning in 2010. To focus exclusively on Financial Planning, Investment Management, Insurance, Tax Consulting, and Financial Education, Jamison sold his Tax and Accounting Firm in 2017 to Anderson ZurMuehlen (now Pinion). His three staff members and over 225 clients made the transition.
Jamison is passionate about financial education and has created a series of classes called "You Don't Know, What You Don't Know" that cover retirement, investments, financial planning, taxes, business, and risk management at the University of Montana, both online and in person, for individuals, companies, and organizations. This allows him to help educate and enlighten people about the intricacies and complexities of retirement risks, taxes, estate planning, and business financial planning. He gains great satisfaction and enjoyment, empowering people to make the best-informed decisions about their financial affairs.
Jamison's extensive knowledge in tax, investments, insurance, personal and business structure, estate planning, financial analysis, and accounting allows him to provide the plan, structure, and support his client's need to reduce their tax burden, create tax-free retirements, save for retirement, plan for the unknown, and have more security and quality of life while preparing for, or living in retirement. His experience and analytical approach to comprehensive planning, tax, and investment management make him a unique, thought-provoking, and excellent Instructor.
Outside of is professional life Jamison enjoys spending time with his wife and family, watching movies, traveling, serving people, and cherishing quality time with loved ones. He also enjoys helping out at college track meets and finds fulfillment in coaching and encouraging others.
