Personal and Professional Path

Cindy Habig was born and raised in Seattle, Washington.  In 1989, she moved to Columbus, Ohio, where she married and started her family.  Cindy began her professional career as a licensed Health, Life, and Disability insurance agent, managing health and disability plans for the Ohio Dental Association before joining JPMorgan Chase (Bank One) in 1991.

Her career at JPMorgan Chase started as an Executive Assistant in the Corporate Audit Department.  She advanced to Risk Analyst, conducting audits within the Investment Management Group, including Operations, Corporate, and Personal Trust.  During this time, Cindy attended and successfully completed Cannon Trust School I.

In 1998, Cindy became Manager of the Investment Performance Reporting group, leading a team of ten analysts responsible for system maintenance, performance attribution, portfolio analysis, and client presentation materials for over 40,000 managed accounts.  Following the 1999 merger of Bank One with JPMorgan Chase, Cindy transitioned in 2002 to Senior Portfolio Analyst within the Business Development/Investment Strategies group.  She analyzed portfolios for prospective clients, constructed asset allocation and product solutions, and served on the Portfolio Construction Committee, maintaining Asset Allocation grids for JPMorgan Private Bank.

In 2007, Cindy became the Executive Director of the Global Client Onboarding Quality Control group and earned her Series 99 FINRA Operations Professional license.  She built and managed a global team of over 100 analysts responsible for quality reviews of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation, ensuring compliance with the PATRIOT Act and the Bank Secrecy Act.  Cindy became a subject-matter expert in AML/KYC, supporting front-office teams and senior management during internal and OCC audits.

In 2016, Cindy assumed a true compliance role as Global Client Onboarding Controls and Procedures Executive.  She led a team of ten technical writers to create and maintain global AML/KYC policies and procedures and played a key role in managing the action plan to close a firm-wide OCC consent order related to the Bank Secrecy Act/AML.

After retiring from JPMorgan Chase in 2019, Cindy moved to Lolo, Montana, to be closer to family.  In 2020, she joined Glacier Wealth Management as an Client Service Associate, supporting Jamison R.
